Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU)- PRN

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and design personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient responses.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in patient conditions, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions.
• Utilize sound clinical judgment, consult with medical team members as needed, and document all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Ensure patient safety, adhere to evidence-based protocols, and foster a supportive and empathetic environment.
• Perform competent level of nursing care using the nursing process.
• Maintain clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the clinical area(s).

Requirements

• Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.
• Additional Life Support requirements based on clinical area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card, NRP).
