Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Compact state licensure
- 2-5 years of related clinical experience preferred
- Experience in Medical-Surgical and Critical Care settings
- Knowledge of tracheotomy, venting, drips, dialysis, cardiac monitoring, telemetry
Unit Description
The ICU/CCU is a 4-bed critical care unit serving adult patients. It operates on a track schedule with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2. The care team includes registered nurses, a clinical educator, nursing assistants, a unit secretary, resource nurses, case managers, physical therapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. New graduate nurses are welcomed.

- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting required
- May involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials
