Registered Nurse - Inpatient Psychiatry

This role involves providing professional nursing care in a mental health/psychiatric environment, including assessing and diagnosing patients across pediatric to geriatric age groupsdeveloping and implementing individualized care plansadministering medications, performing procedures, and coordinating treatmentsfacilitating group therapy and patient educationdocumenting patient conditions and responseseducating patients and families on treatment regimenscollaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safety standardsparticipating in quality improvement, administrative tasks, and training new staffresponding to emergencies and maintaining a therapeutic environment Qualifications include a program graduate of an accredited nursing schoolvalid RN license in NM or reciprocal agreementCPR/BLS certificationpreferably bilingual with at least 1 year of related experience The role demands physical strength to handle heavy work and a safe, supportive environment for patients, with exposure to physical risks from potentially combative patients and hazardous materials.
