Registered Nurse – Inpatient Psychiatry and Psychology

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. The RN supports professional practice across various settings, adhering to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and ANA standards. Key duties include planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of care, as well as providing leadership through mentoring, informal roles, and quality improvement initiatives. The role involves delegating patient care based on skill, experience, and resources, with excellent communication, mentoring, and critical thinking skills. Qualifications include being a student or graduate of a nursing program, with preferably one year of RN or LPN experience. Must hold a current RN license, BLS certification, and be able to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
