About the Role
The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, following evidence-based practices and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—tailored to individual patient needs.
- Partner with patients and families, ensuring effective communication and culturally competent care.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in professional development, mentorship, and protocol development to foster a competent and healthy workforce.
- Adhere to organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as an RN and required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS).
- Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in healthcare technology and documentation.
