About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, following evidence-based practices and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Partner with patients and families, ensuring effective communication and culturally competent care.
  • Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development, mentorship, and protocol development to foster a competent and healthy workforce.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as an RN and required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS).
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in healthcare technology and documentation.
