Role Overview
The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a key member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a clinical environment supported by evidence-based practices, professional standards, and organizational policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using clinical judgment and evidence-based standards.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, fostering effective communication and shared decision-making with patients and families.
- Cook up and document safe, quality care while promoting teamwork, inclusivity, and respectful collaboration among healthcare professionals.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research activities, and uphold regulatory, safety, and ethical standards.
- Mentor and serve as a preceptor for staff and students, ensuring ongoing professional development and a healthy work environment.
- Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and evidence-based practice to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or BSN from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Valid RN license and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and adherence to organizational policies.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with healthcare technology and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
