Registered Nurse - IMCU - Night Shift

About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized treatment based on evidence-based practices. They collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Deliver culturally competent, relationship-based care tailored to patient populations.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance initiatives.
• Support professional development by serving as a preceptor or mentor.
• Promote evidence-based practice, clinical research, and adherence to organizational policies and standards.
• Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, contributing to protocol development and resource management.

Requirements

• Diploma or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid nursing license and required certifications, including ACLS and BLS.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience preferred.
