Registered Nurse II (Supervisor)

Under the direction of Director of Nursing Services, coordinates, supervises, and directs the work of CNAs and LVN Charge Nurse(s). Ensures resident needs are met according to Federal and State regulations and Company Policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service to residents, families, co-workers, and vendors to ensure satisfaction.
• Reviews referrals in the absence of admissions or the Director of Nursing.
• Coordinates and performs patient assessments and plan of care evaluations.
• Assists LVN and CNA staff with their duties as needed.
• Coordinates and performs treatments, medications, or other nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or physician orders.
• Ensures all emergency measures are followed per Care Center and company policy within standards of nursing practice.
• Maintains required documentation as per Federal, State, and Company Policy.
• Maintains inventory of medical supplies and medications to meet patient needs.
• Ensures all patient rights are protected.
• Arrives to work on time, in proper clean uniform, with good personal hygiene and visible nametag.
• Follows highest standards of cleanliness and all Federal, State, and company policies, health codes, and guidelines in preparation and handling of foodstuffs.
• Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner, wearing safety equipment as required.
• Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor.
• Attends all mandatory in-service meetings.
• Complies with all department and facility policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and procedures manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Registered Nurse license in California.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience with long-term care, geriatric, and/or rehabilitative nursing (preferred but not required).

Pay

$61.00 - $65.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time, every other Sunday.
