About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care within organizational policies. They are responsible for maintaining practice standards, coordinating patient care, and demonstrating professional growth and accountability.

Requirements

• Recognized Nursing Diploma or Degree
• Valid Georgia RN licensure or multistate license
• Current BCLS certification

Specialty certifications

• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or chemotherapy/biotherapy may be required depending on specialty area
• Some certifications must be obtained within specified timeframes

Qualifications

• No prior experience required
• Hospital experience preferred but not required
