About the role
Provide safe, high-quality acute-care nursing in hospital settings.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Follow infection-control policies and patient safety standards
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed within 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required based on specific assignments
