About the role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem ICU and Telemetry positions in Halifax, VA.
Responsibilities
- Providing safe, high-quality care in an acute-care hospital setting
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patients' conditions and responses to treatments
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Following infection-control standards and patient safety guidelines
- Educating patients and families about care and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
