Registered Nurse - ICU

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings in accordance with the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model and ANA standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care
• Provide leadership through activities such as mentorship, informal leadership, and quality improvement
• Delegate patient care tasks appropriately
• Mentor and support staff development
• Participate in committees, projects, or other initiatives
• May be required to drive a personal vehicle for job-related duties

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations
• Additional state licensure or certifications may be required based on role

Qualifications

• One year of RN or LPN experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working in a team environment
• Computer proficiency

Schedule

• Part-time hours
• 12-hour day/night rotation
• Every third weekend and holiday

This position is eligible for TN sponsorship with the necessary licensure and certification.
