About the role
Seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care following organizational policies and protocols
- Assess patient condition, document, and communicate effectively
- Serve as primary coordinator for patient care teams
- Implement and monitor care plans
- Execute physician and nurse orders
- Collaborate on discharge planning with healthcare team members
Requirements
- Active licensure as a registered nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
