We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Services team, delivering high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes.
  • Develop clinical skills in wound care, medication administration, IV monitoring, and patient/caregiver education.
  • Operate and manage complex medical equipment with precision.
  • Document patient care, access needed information, and prepare medications.
  • Lift, transfer, and ambulate patients, including bending, retrieving, and carrying supplies and equipment.
  • Navigate crowded and busy environments, including those with equipment and power cords.
  • Stand for extended periods and assist with transporting patients and equipment.
  • For roles requiring driving: Drive a vehicle, including sitting for extended periods and reading traffic signs and signals.

Requirements

  • Current RN License in state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
  • Current driver’s license, insured and reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (required as of July 2025; employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements in place at the time of their hire or promotion).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of experience working as an RN.
  • Previous experience in Acute Care, Home Health, or Hospice settings.

Physical Requirements

  • Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, and identify equipment and supplies.
  • Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors requiring clear verbal communication, hearing, and understanding of spoken information, alarms, and needs, especially during emergencies.
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment, including frequent computer use and typing for documentation and medication preparation.
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients, including bending, retrieving, lifting, and carrying supplies and equipment of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining/distributing supplies and equipment, including pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment.
  • Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (e.g., full of equipment, power cords on the floor).
  • May be expected to stand in a stationary position for extended periods.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday business hours.
  • Rotating call and holidays.

Scheduled weekly hours: 32

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $35.22 - $53.29. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

Location: Home Health and Hospice - Cassia, Burley, Idaho.
