About the Role
Float Pool Registered Nurse providing compassionate patient care across multiple units within an acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Conduct bedside reports and perform comprehensive assessments for pediatric to geriatric patients
- Utilize triage for timely care and monitor cardiac rhythms
- Communicate clinical changes to physicians and respond swiftly to patient condition changes
- Adjust care accordingly and evaluate patient outcomes
- Consult with specialists and perform general nursing duties in all departments with supervision
- Flexibility to float to all units as required
Requirements
- Current Nevada nursing license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS certification within six months of hire
- At least two years of critical care experience in ED, ICU, or PACU
Skills
- Ability to perform head-to-toe assessments
- Work effectively in a dynamic environment
