About the role
Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position on the Medical/Telemetry Unit with a night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care by assessing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and cultural needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate interdisciplinary treatment, and manage discharge planning.
- Perform hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and proactively meet patient needs.
- Collaborate with patients and families to address educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
- Follow communication protocols such as SBAR to ensure safe handoffs and care transitions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program with an active Nevada nursing license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
