Role Overview

The registered nurse provides professional and technical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). They supervise team members, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver age-appropriate care aligned with unit standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
• At least 1 year of Postpartum RN experience
• Additional certifications as required by the department
