Registered Nurse - Full Time Days

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
• Ensures patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively, communicating across care teams.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Nursing diploma or associate's degree, RN license, and no prior experience needed.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and less than two years of experience.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.

• Based in a 38-bed acute care unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4 or 5:1, supported by a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice nurses, case managers, and specialists.
