About the role
This full-time nursing role involves assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in a small-format hospital ER.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care
- Document accurately and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Observe and record patient signs and symptoms
- Follow physician orders and adhere to infection control protocols
- Collect lab samples
- Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
- Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures
- Participate in quality assessments and attend staff meetings
- Perform assigned tasks
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred
- Current state RN licensure without sanctions
- Minimum 2 years of full-time RN experience in ER or comparable setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; TNCC preferred
- Fluency in English (written and oral)
- For Pennsylvania candidates, necessary background clearances must be completed or obtained prior to start
