About the role
Provide comprehensive mental health care to adult patients in an inpatient psychiatric facility.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical providers.
- Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability.
- Uphold organizational standards and values.
- Provide individualized care through assessments, psychiatric evaluations, and therapy support.
- Ensure high standards of patient safety.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Nursing School.
- Current RN license (state or compact).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (American Heart Association).
- Additional certifications as required by the role.
