Registered Nurse - Full-Time - Day Shift

Role Overview

This position involves providing patient-centered peri-operative care within a collaborative surgical team. You will evaluate patients, educate families, prepare patients for surgery, and participate in surgical site verification and emergency response. The role emphasizes applying evidence-based practices, critical thinking, and leadership skills to ensure safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery
• Educate patients and families about procedures and follow-up care
• Ensure patient safety through proper preparation and adherence to protocols
• Participate in surgical workflows, including briefing and debriefing
• Respond effectively to patient emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal outcomes

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification
• Minimum of one year hospital nursing experience
• Strong critical thinking, technical, and leadership skills
