Registered Nurse - Full Time Day Shift
Role Overview
A registered nurse in this position provides advanced, patient-centered nursing care within a fast-paced, technical environment. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse supervises team members, communicates effectively with patients and families, and ensures a safe, therapeutic environment. They are responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, administering medications and IVs safely, and adhering to hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Current nursing license in Texas
- Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as required
- Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency
- Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Physical & Environmental Demands
The role involves standing, moving, bending, reaching, and handling materials, with exposure to blood, body fluids, and skin irritants. The environment is primarily indoor with specific safety considerations. The position requires attentiveness to visual and auditory demands essential for patient safety.
