About the role
Registered Nurse providing professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Supervise team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure age and developmentally appropriate care in line with unit standards.
- Communicate clearly, foster a collaborative environment, take accountability for performance, seek continuous improvement, and support professional growth.
- Provide high-quality patient care, lead and supervise team members, communicate effectively, and actively contribute to a positive patient experience and team environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Additional certifications as required by department
- Valid professional nursing license in Texas
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience with critical care or ER background
