Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative care to pediatric patients
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and family-centered support
- Perform assessments, medication administration, and OR preparation
- Serve as circulating or scrub nurse during surgical procedures
- Maintain detailed EMR documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and child-life teams
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in pediatric perioperative nursing
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical settings
- Knowledge of EMR systems and surgical protocols
