Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Weekender Nights

Position: RN - Float Pool (Registered Nurse Resource Team) Location: Chicago, IL Type: Part-Time (0.6 FTE), working weekends night shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am). Responsibilities: Floats across inpatient units, providing high-quality, individualized patient care. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring safety and adherence to standards. Guides and supervises staff, promotes professional growth, maintains competency, and documents thoroughly. Responds effectively to emergency situations and supports a team environment. Qualifications: At least one year of acute care inpatient RN experience, graduate from an accredited nursing program, current Illinois RN license, and CPR certification. ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required. Skills: Effective communication, mastery of nursing skills, supervision abilities, ethical practice, evidence-based care, adaptability, and teamwork.
