Registered Nurse - Float Pool | Critical Care

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN), providing high-quality care across multiple critical care units. As a Float Pool RN, you will support staffing needs, ensure patient safety, and deliver comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and response to patient condition changes in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, continuous nursing care across diverse clinical settings.
• Integrate quickly with new care teams to maintain quality outcomes.
• Support units during staffing gaps and stabilize patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Mentor staff and model nursing best practices.
• Support technology adoption and workflow improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty (e.g., Med Surg, Tele, Critical Care, ED, Women's).
• Current compact licensure in the appropriate state.
• Certification in cardiac dysrhythmia and NIH Stroke Scale upon hire.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills.
• Ability to interpret patient information and modify care based on age-specific needs.
• Preferred: Specialty certification within two years of hire.
