Registered Nurse - Flex/Per Diem/PRN

About the role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, and coordinating with various departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational standards and values.

Delivers flexible RN services across departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health. Responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being adaptable to short-notice shifts, and managing shift cancellations. No mandatory weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Ensure professional accountability and evaluate care effectiveness
• Coordinate with various departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Deliver flexible RN services across multiple departments (Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, Women's Health)
• Schedule a minimum number of hours and adapt to short-notice shifts
• Manage shift cancellations

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Recent bedside experience (1 year for Med Surg, 2 years for specialty areas)
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required

Qualifications

• Preferred BSN degree
• Preferred Epic experience
