Registered Nurse - Flex/Per Diem/PRN

Role Overview

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering bedside nursing care in various departments including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health.
• Flexibly working as a PRN, per diem, or float nurse, with options for day or night shifts and no mandatory weekend or holiday shifts.
• Participating in the Gig Nursing Program by managing scheduling, being available on short notice, and accepting shift cancellations.
• Maintaining current licensure, certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS as applicable), and fulfilling physical demands such as lifting and prolonged standing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in the state or compact licensure.
• Minimum of one year bedside RN experience in Med Surg or two years in specialty areas like ED or ICU; Epic experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required for all; ACLS and PALS for critical care areas.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting and prolonged standing.
