Registered Nurse - Field Assessor

About the role

We are hiring for a PRN RN Field Assessor to join our passionate team in Santa Rosa, CA. As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA), you would be completing Long Term Care insurance assessments. These hands-off assessments require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence.

Responsibilities

• Complete Long Term Care insurance assessments
• Obtain claimant demographics, physician information, and a current medication list
• Evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence
• Complete a brief cognitive screening
• Evaluate the claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks
• Use a point of care web application/system on a laptop or tablet, in real time for documentation purposes

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
• CPR certification
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of RN experience
• Able to work independently
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $41.20 to $61.85 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
