Registered Nurse - Experienced and Graduate
About the role
The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, and delivers patient care to ensure safety, comfort, and satisfaction. They coordinate interdisciplinary care, perform treatments and medications, and evaluate intervention effectiveness. The nurse collaborates with physicians and staff, addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and participates in quality and safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Complete patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
- Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure optimal care delivery.
- Engage in evidence-based practice and unit-based decision-making.
- Participate in patient safety and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from a nursing specialty training program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
