Registered Nurse-Evening Shift (Children's Residential)

About the Role

We're seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program (PRTF) for adolescent females and males at our West Chester, PA location. Our programs provide clinical treatment, educational instruction, and behavioral intervention services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges and disorders.

A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS), a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments.

Schedule

6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, every 3rd weekend.

Pay

$40 - $45.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to children and adolescents with special needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges.
• Work within a Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS) framework.
• Utilize proficient computer skills, including mastery of Microsoft Office Applications and experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (e.g., Radar, Pro-Filer, and other internal/external software).
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication, and the ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing with a B.S.N., Diploma, or A.D.
• Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• One year of post-education nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with cognitive and/or behavioral challenges or medically complex conditions.
