Registered Nurse - Evening/Night Shift

About the role

Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes. Promote a therapeutic environment and support departmental goals while adhering to budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare teams on patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and department improvement initiatives
• Supervise direct care staff as needed
• Maintain safety and quality standards
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing degree program
• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR certification
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in psychiatric care
• Knowledge of abnormal psychology
