Registered Nurse - Evening/Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Welcome patients, promote a safe environment, and supervise care staff.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges through collaboration with departments.
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather and analyze health data.
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning, ensuring medical issues are integrated into treatment.
• Contribute to department goals, quality improvement, and professional development.
• Assist in staff selection, orientation, and program evaluation.
• Attend trainings, serve as a role model, and educate community groups about mental health.
• Supervise patient care within budget constraints, managing resources effectively.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and therapeutic systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and possess a nursing degree.

Schedule

Full Time, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
