Registered Nurse - Evening and Night Shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing staff, enhancing patient care quality.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and improve care protocols and practices.
• Conduct educational sessions, workshops, and in-service training to develop staff skills.
• Mentor and coach nurses to promote professional growth and clinical excellence.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and development of evidence-based protocols.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Assist with regulatory audits, inspections, and addressing compliance issues.
• Advocate for high-quality patient care, addressing patient and family concerns.
• Stay current with nursing research and implement evidence-based practices.
• Maintain detailed records, generate reports, and analyze data to monitor outcomes and progress.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in inpatient medical/surgical or critical care.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
