Position Details

Mercy Fort Smith has undergone a $162 million expansion of its ER and ICU. The ER now has 50 rooms, and the ICU has 64 rooms. This expansion accommodates approximately 25,000 additional patient visits annually.

Shift Differentials

Qualifications

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
Licensure: Must have a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and meet all state board of nursing requirements
Experience: 1 Year ER experience preferred
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Required one or more of the certifications below based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM

Physical Requirements

Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
The ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
The ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
