Registered Nurse - ER (Mid shift)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced RNs to join a hospital experiencing significant expansion in its ER and ICU units, increasing capacity to better serve the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a dynamic ER/ICU environment.
• Maintain staffing ratios of 3:1 on high acuity units, with flexibility as needed.
• Handle patient transfers for complex cases such as major burns, neurosurgery, and orthopedics.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including physical requirements like lifting and prolonged standing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state or authorized compact licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year ER experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, or specialty certifications based on unit needs.
