Registered Nurse - ER

About the role

Join our team as a full-time Emergency Room (ER) Charge Registered Nurse on the night shift. You will manage shift operations and ensure quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift management, monitor care quality, and serve as a liaison to the Nurse Manager and House Supervisor.
• Provide first-level supervision, assign patients, and offer clinical support to nursing staff.
• Mentor new associates and participate in performance reviews.
• Assess patient and family needs, develop care plans, delegate tasks, and evaluate care delivery to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

• Current Kansas RN licensure.
• 2-year degree in nursing.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire and ACLS certification as required.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 4-year degree in nursing.
• Preferred: Experience in a similar healthcare setting.
