Join our team as a full-time, Night shift Emergency Room (ER) Charge Registered Nurse, responsible for managing shift operations and ensuring quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Include Overseeing shift management and monitoring care quality under the Nurse Manager's direction.Serving as a liaison, updating leadership on unit needs and major occurrences.Providing first-level supervision, assigning patients, and supporting nursing staff with clinical duties.Mentoring new staff and participating in performance reviews.Assessing patient and family needs, developing care plans, and revising them to meet diverse needs.Delegating care to optimize outcomes and adhering to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.Performing clinical support tasks such as admissions, procedures, and problem-solving. Qualifications And Skills 2-year degree and current Kansas RN licensure.BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS certification as required by the unit.Preferred: 4-year degree and experience in a similar healthcare setting.
