About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, managing, and providing comprehensive patient care during hospitalization in a dynamic hospital setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate care while ensuring patient safety, satisfaction, and adherence to clinical standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments and reassessments, documenting findings accurately, and evaluating patient needs.
- Develop, coordinate, and modify individualized care plans based on assessment data, diagnoses, and physician orders.
- Administer medications, monitor IV fluids, provide patient education, and ensure discharge planning.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, provide handoff reports, and collaborate for optimal patient outcomes.
- Deliver specialized care, including restraint and pain management, while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain professional accountability by following policies, participating in quality improvement, and staying current with evidence-based practices.
- Provide age-appropriate care, demonstrate cultural competence, and ensure patient and family engagement.
- Promote service excellence through courteous communication, respect, confidentiality, and patient-centered care.
- Support a collaborative, respectful work environment, orient new staff, and ensure safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Current RN license in applicable states with required certifications (e.g., BLS).
- Excellent assessment, documentation, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and work effectively within a team.
