Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care as the primary point of contact.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire, accepted from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or college.
