Registered Nurse - Endoscopy - Days

Position Overview Provides direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.Implements and monitors patient care plans, communicates patient conditions, and serves as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary care.Follows physician and nursing orders and assesses discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Qualifications And Skills Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire, from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.Diploma from an accredited nursing school and professional licensure at the time of hire. Additional Details Work in the Endoscopy department, primarily from 6AM-2PM with extended shifts and call requirements.Location at UAB St. Vincent's East.Benefits include paid time off, parental leave, assistance programs, and tuition reimbursement.
