Registered Nurse - Employee Health - Part-Time

About the role

The Registered Nurse Employee Health role involves supporting workforce health through pre-placement screenings, return-to-work clearances, fit-for-duty evaluations, and annual health assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct immunizations, TB surveillance, drug testing, respirator fit testing, and manage compliance programs
• Communicate with staff and management regarding health-related matters
• Review lab results and perform occupational exposure follow-up
• Provide off-hours on-call coverage for work-related exposures and illness symptoms
• Evaluate team members' health status and document activities accurately
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
• Support infection control protocols
• Perform health screenings, immunization management, and exposure follow-up
• Travel between sites as necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare
• Active Illinois RN license
• CPR certification
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
