Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Regional Float Pool

About the Role

This onsite Registered Nurse position provides direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, up to level 1 trauma care, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level nursing care in an emergency department setting.
• Model proficiency through precepting and mentoring.
• Contribute to safety and quality initiatives.
• Support specialty education for competency validation.
• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Prioritize wellness, safety, and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and trauma care courses.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, TNCC, and ATCN.
