Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool II - Emergency Department

About the role

The Pineville ED Float position will have Pineville as the teammate’s primary home location; however, the role requires flexibility to support staffing needs across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Floating between all four facilities, including Pineville Emergency Department and the three freestanding emergency departments located in Steele Creek, Providence, and Ballantyne.
• Ensuring appropriate coverage and patient care across the region.
• Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication.
• Leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
• Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30.

Pay

• Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
• Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job.
• Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.

Schedule

• Hours Per Week: 36.
• Schedule Details/Additional Information: Will support Pineville ED and three freestanding EDs: Providence, Ballantyne, and Steele Creek.
