Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Float Pool

About the Role

Provide patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department Float Pool, serving various ER locations and age groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care based on patient needs.
• Perform delegated duties within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with ED techs to maintain supplies and equipment.
• Conduct lab testing per established protocols.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.
• Float to other areas with demonstrated competency.
• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care and support hospital standards.
• Participate in quality control and professional growth activities.

Requirements

• Current Colorado RN license or active multistate license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER RN experience.
• Nursing degree (BSN preferred).
• Competency in lab testing and patient care.
