Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Part-Time

About the Role

Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessments and develops/updates individualized care plans.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to manage patient safety and quality of care.
• Implements discharge planning and monitors care quality.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Educates patients and families and advocates for their needs.
• Maintains accurate documentation.
• Delegates tasks appropriately.
• Ensures compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational policies.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing or diploma with RN licensure; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least one year of RN experience, or equivalent through residency programs or LPN experience for internal candidates.
• Current RN license recognized in the practice state.
