Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nights)

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering safe, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process. The RN evaluates care effectiveness, coordinates with interdisciplinary teams, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality in line with organizational standards. Unit Overview: Provides care in a 24-bed Emergency Department serving diverse acute and complex conditions, including trauma, cardiac, neurosurgical, renal, and medical emergencies, within a Level III trauma setting. Ensures rapid stabilization and advanced treatment when needed. Responsibilities: Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams. Maintain professional accountability, monitor care quality, and ensure compliance with policies. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the state of practice or valid compact licensure.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or obtained within 30 days of hire.Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, or others may be required based on the unit. Skills & Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks essential for patient care.
