About the role
Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in emergency care.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process to deliver safe, effective, patient-centered care
- Evaluating and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams
- Upholding patient rights, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to professional standards
- Providing care in a 24-bed Level III trauma emergency department for diverse, complex conditions
- Responding rapidly to acute medical and trauma emergencies, including post-operative, neurosurgical, renal, and general medical cases
- Maintaining appropriate patient ratios and ensuring quality care delivery
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the applicable state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or ENPC may be required based on unit needs
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform various physical activities during shifts
