Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nights)

About the Role

Provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care using the nursing process. Evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability in a 24-bed Emergency Department. This Level III trauma center serves a diverse patient population with acute and complex conditions, including trauma, cardiac, neurosurgical, renal, and medical emergencies, focusing on rapid stabilization and advanced care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care aligning with standards and the organization’s mission.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and rights.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and others may be required based on the department.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical activities during shifts.
