Registered Nurse-Emergency Department-Night

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, effective, and timely.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Tailor patient and family education based on individual assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice quality and effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care, ensure effective communication, promote education, and participate in quality improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's or BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
